Tell us about your real-world data expertise.
I have 15+ years in the industry with about 10 years focused on RWD. I have led engagements for life sciences organizations of all sizes across all phases of the product/portfolio development lifecycle.
What’s been one of the most rewarding or exciting projects that you’ve been a part of and why?
My team partnered with a life sciences organization developing a novel therapy for a rare autoimmune disorder with the objective of more effectively identifying patients struggling with this condition and the HCPs interacting with these patients. To accomplish this, we partnered with a KOL and a major Center of Excellence for this condition to tokenize patients confirmed to have this condition. We then leveraged AI/ML modeling, with our KOL as our expert human in the loop, to identify other patients across the U.S. who were highly likely to be undiagnosed with this rare disease. Appropriate education was then able to be deployed to the HCPs attempting to care for these patients.
What types of problems are our RWD helping pharma solve?
There is a very wide range, including evidence generation based on real-world circumstances, strategic insights enabled by the longitudinal nature of RWD, and tactical deployment of resources based on the near real-time capture of many of our sources.
When you’re not analyzing data, what do you like to do?
Enjoy the outdoors in Colorado with my wife and our dog.
